Chapter President, Bloomington Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
Hello and Welcome to the web presence of the Bloomington Alumnae Chapter, also known affectionately as BAC. We are located in the heart of Hoosier Country in the city of Bloomington, Indiana.

Currently, BAC is the home for sorority members who reside within all three of the chapter's service areas: Bloomington, IN, Columbus, IN and Terre Haute, IN. We are women on the move with a passion and drive to pursue excellence in the name of Delta Sigma Theta. We align our programs and services within Bloomington and surrounding community with our Sorority's Five Point Programmatic Thrust: Economic Development, Educational Development, International Awareness and Involvement, Physical and Mental Health, and Political Awareness and Involvement. Here are a few examples of programs we have hosted over the last several years:

Our signature program is the Dr. Betty Shebazz Delta Leadership Academy which serves young girls 11 to 14 years of age, educating and mentoring them in the areas of Science, Math, and Technology with additional focus on Arts & Letters. Through mentoring we cultivate personal growth and development and most importantly, self-confidence within the young girls and the desire to strive toward a successful life.

BAC also hosts an ANNUAL EVENING OF JAZZ which is a night of elegance. We overwhelm the senses with delectable food, live jazz music and intelligent company in a relaxed atmosphere. Who could ask for more? Proceeds from this event are for the direct support of our various programs that serve the chapters three service areas.
